CRAE Segre

Location: The CRAE Segre is located in the city of Girona, between the districts of Palau and Santa Pau. This area is perfectly communicated with the city centre through the discretionary bus.

Places: 10 mixed places.

Age group: 12 to 18 years (horizontal centre).

Foundation: In the year 1982, under the authority of the Provincial Council of Girona, the Children’s Community of Segre is created as a response to the programme “Desinternament Infància”. Later, in the year 1992, it changed to being managed by the Regional Council of Girona, until 1995, when the process of transfer of responsibility from the Regional Council to the Foundation was initiated. The Foundation took complete control in June of 1995. The CRAE Sant Daniel has always been part of the Directorate General for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA), being operated by our Foundation through public tender.

Personnel: Director, 6 educators and a house administrator.
The educational team provides external technical supervision.
