CRAE Sobrequés

Location: El CRAE Sobrequés està ubicat al barri de Sant Narcís, de la ciutat de Girona, entre les instal·lacions del complex esportiu GEIEG, les instal·lacions Esportives de Can Gibert del Pla i el Pavelló Esportiu de Santa Eugènia. Es tracta d’un barri tranquil, bàsicament residencial que té propera una àmplia xarxa de serveis que faciliten la comunicació amb el centre de la ciutat.

Places: 10 places mixtes.

Age group: de 3 a 18 anys, (centre vertical).

Foundation: : In the year 1982, under the authority of the Provincial Council of Girona, the Children’s Community of Salt is created as a response to the programme “Desinternament Infància”. Later, in the year 1992, it changed to being managed by the Regional Council of Girona, until 1995, when the process of transfer of responsibility from the Regional Council to the Foundation was initiated. The Foundation took complete control in April of 1995. The CRAE Sobrequés has always been part of the Directorate General for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA), being operated by our Foundation through public tender.

Personnel: Director, 6 educators and a house administrator.
The educational team provides external technical supervision.
