CRAE Sant Daniel

Location: The CRAE Sant Daniel is located in the district of Sant Daniel, in the suburbs of the city of Girona. This is a quiet zone, close to the natural setting of the Sant Daniel valley, and benefiting from a good road network to access the city.

Places: 10 mixed places.

Age group: 3 to 18 years (vertical centre)

Foundation:In the year 1986, under the authority of the Provincial Council of Girona, the Children’s Community of Salt is created as a response to the programme “Desinternament Infància”. Later, in the year 1992, it changed to being managed by the Regional Council of Girona, until, in 1995, responsibility for this centre was transferred from the Regional Council to the Foundation. The Foundation took complete control in April of 1995. The CRAE Sant Daniel was a centre fully controlled by the Directorate General for Child and Adolescent Care (DGAIA), until 1997, when, through public tender, it changed to being a collaborative centre, operated by our Foundation.

The educational team provides external technical supervision.
