Child and Adolescent Care Team (EAIA)

EAIA of Gironès county

Location: The EAIA of Gironès county is located within the Regional Council of Gironès county. The team's area of work covers the Gironès county, with exception of the city of Girona, which has its own EAIA.

Foundation: The Child and Adolescent Care Teams of La Selva and Gironès counties - Gironès team - were formally founded on 11 September 2000. Although this EAIA is organisationally dependent on the EAIA of the La Selva and Gironès counties, it works as an independent team. In November of 2004, the administrative and functional separation of both teams was finally concluded, to become the EAIA of Gironès county.

Repsonsibility: In December 2002, the responsibility for this entity was transferred from the Regional Council of Gironès county to the Educational Platform Foundation, on the basis of a collaboration agreement.
