Supervised accommodation and follow-up - PA (Pis assistit)

Supervised accommodation
Accommodation resource aimed at providing support to young men and women being fostered from the age of 16 and those young men and women from the age of 18 coming from a foster home and/or from primary social care. The objective is for them to attain their full autonomy and independence within the different aspects of their life.
If the institution sees a requirement for the use of this resource for a 16 year old, access can be provided, too.

Follow-up
Assistance and support resource to provide a socio-educational and labour related follow-up support to young people with a degree of autonomy sufficient to allow integration. They live in a separated area within the supervised accommodation in order to receive comprehensive support and orientation.
The supervised accommodation and follow-up facilities depend on the Department of Social Welfare and Family Affairs of the Generalitat de Catalunya: Directorate General for Child and Adolescent Care (Interdepartamental Plan for ex-foster young people older than 18 years of age).

The Educational Platform Foundation manages three supervised accommodation facilities: L'Avinguda, supervised accommodation of Salt and supervised accommodation of Granollers.

This service has one coordinator and 2 educators.
The educational team provides external technical supervision.
