Chronic malnutrition is one of the major problems for children under 5 years of age living in rural areas of Guatemala. Families do not have material or training resources to deal with this social emergency.
To face this harsh reality, the Children’s Nutrition project of The Resilis Foundation works closely with the Totonicapan Departmental Hospital and the health centers in the area, nurses and nutritionists, indigenous educators and the civil society of the territory to offer the necessary support to these families and contribute our grain of sand.
