Volunteering is the one who, by his own choice, devotes part of his time to solidarity action, altruistic, without receiving remuneration in return. Plataforma Educativa conveys all its volunteering action through the Acciona’t association.
Acciona’t was born to name all those people (citizens, volunteers, workers) who selflessly dedicate their free time to initiatives and social volunteering projects within one of the educational platform entities.
Acciona’t works thanks to the synergies generated by the educational platform entities, and thus respond to the specific needs of each organization in relation to volunteers.
Volunteering is an added value for the entities that constitute an Educational Platform, provides a point of contact with society, with the direct environment of services and with the social networks of neighborhoods, municipalities or cities. It facilitates the return to society of the work we do acting as agents of communication, dissemination and recognition of the professional work that projects and services develop.
Like the rest of the own profiles within the organization, volunteers have the right to know and be part of the participation bodies as well as the spaces where information is shared outside the technical or strictly professional field.
As a volunteer, your role is to live up close and feel part of the small and great successes achieved by the people attended. All activities contribute a grain of sand to the improvement of people’s quality of life and the defence of their rights.
From Acciona’t we can offer you a wide range of volunteering actions that help the development of social action in a city or municipality where the entity carries out its projects.
